Nina studied industrial design at the University IUAV in Venice, visual communication and art in Aveiro, Portugal, and completed her MA in product design at the Royal College of Art in London. Portrait making, however, is something that is integral to her practice in its most direct form. It is also her favourite thing to do.
I strive to keep drawing at the centre of my practice, letting it guide the way I think, design and make. It is an ongoing pursuit.
Her work has been presented at exhibitions and design events including
Salone del Mobile (Milan),
Vienna Design Week,
Ars Electronica,
Dutch Design Week,
Berlin Design Week,
KOFUSO (Seoul).
She has also led workshops and given lectures at
Salone del Mobile,
Vienna Design Week,
Ars Electronica,
University of Ljubljana (Faculty of Architecture),
University of Primorska.
